Editor's note. Posted under Allan Todd's article written after the far-right demonstration in London on 13 September 2025, which Todd put at around 100,000. He argued that the people behind the Your Party project, by putting off its founding conference until 2026, were losing the moment that some 800,000 sign-ups had given them. Waych out for the counter persp;ective, almost certainly forming in the minds of entrenched Labour leftists, and those who never wanted to be outside the Labour Party. It goes like this: Starmer is toast and bound to go in tghe not too distant future. If we can get Andy Burnham into parliament, he could walk it against the patheric hard core Starmer-ites. Then the party can be shifted to the left, people expelled re-admitted, and eveything will be tickety0boo. Is it a fantasy? Maybe, but I bet Andy Burham is having discussiiopns now with messrs Abbot, McDonald – and Corbyn.
